Beni Ourain rugs, also known as "King rugs" are hand-woven Moroccan crafts. They are woven by different berber tribes in the Atlas Mountains. The rugs are known for their geometric patterns and traditional diamond mesh, the material is hand-washed and naturally colored sheep's wool. Each carpet's unique design consists of dark brown to black lines on a cream white background. Beni Ourain rugs are among the softest and most beautiful rugs you can imagine. Enjoying a Beni Ourain rugs with its history on its floor or wall is pure happiness, it often also becomes a heirloom that can be inherited for generations.
Wool is a fantastic natural fibre with many benefits, it is durable and hard-wearing, which means that a rug made from wool can be used for several generations and maintain its quality. They are an excellent choice for keeping your rooms warm during the cold winter months and can reduce noise from everyday life. The material also has a natural dirt-repellent effect which makes wool rugs easy to keep clean. Wool has a natural elasticity, which means that when the pile is pressed down, it can easily bounce back to its original shape.
