These carpets are knotted in the city of Varamin in northern Persia by resident tribes. They are famous for their aesthetic advanced carpets in red, orange, ochre and blue. The carpets often have a mina khani-pattern, a repetative pattern with flowers arranged four by four in a all-over central field pattern.
