These carpets are produced in Bhadohi, India and the high quality soft wool used is natural and uncoloured, which makes the carpets soft and comfortable. A different kind of loom is used in the production process which makes the work faster than traditional carpet knotting and results in a lower price. However, the newer method does not allow for advanced patterns so they are only available in single colours or simple geometric patterns.
