The designer's own words
My favorite autumn colors for a cozy carpet. We do not recommend you to wash the carpet yourself. Carpet cleaning should always be carried out by a professional.
Biography
Kristina Pacesaite is a Lithuanian artist currently living in Spain. She graduated with a BA in Ceramics from the Kaunas Art College and with a BA in Applied Graphics from the Kaunas Art Faculty (Lithuania) She has been creating artwork and commission work ever since.
This carpet is woven mainly in Dhurrie in India, but also in other places in the country. It is an Indian kelim weaving made of wool.
Wool is a fantastic natural fibre with many benefits, it is durable and hard-wearing, which means that a rug made from wool can be used for several generations and maintain its quality. They are an excellent choice for keeping your rooms warm during the cold winter months and can reduce noise from everyday life. The material also has a natural dirt-repellent effect which makes wool rugs easy to keep clean. Wool has a natural elasticity, which means that when the pile is pressed down, it can easily bounce back to its original shape.
We are proud to be part of the organization CARE & FAIR. Their mission is to improve the living conditions of carpet weavers in India and their families through education and health
